RECIPE ALERT // Protein Brownies (Vegan)

Hi Fit Fam,

This recipe is a combination between indulgence and nutritious! The recipe is from Undressed Skeleton, one of my favourites to follow on Instagram and on Tumblr!  These are Gluten-free, Vegan, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Egg Free, no Sugar Added, Low Fat, High Fibre and Low Calorie.

(Makes 8 Brownies)

Ingredients

  • 2 Small Ripe Banana
  • 3 tablespoons Ground Flax Seed
  • 3 tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 2 packs Stevia
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 scoops Chocolate Vega
  • 1/2 tablespoon Unsweetened Cacao Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Peel bananas, add to blender, blend till smooth
  3. Mix in baking powder, baking soda, vanilla, and stevia
  4. Mix in flax
  5. Mix in Chia
  6. Add chocolate protein
  7. Stir in unsweetened cocao
  8. Spread on baking sheet
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes
  10. Cut into 9 squares

Each Square has: 
85 Calories
2.5 g of Fat
10.5 g of Carbs
4g Fiber
3g Sugar
6g Protein

I spread some soy cream cheese in the middle of two brownies then sprinkles coconut shreds on top!
